North Hollywood, CA. The V. I. S. Club (11345 Ventura Blvd.), rendering of exterior featuring "S" sign and green and gold paint job, dated 1968. Country music nightclub opened March 26, 1969, and was owned by Dick Clark. VIS stood for Very Important Shitkickers, the house band. It lasted less than a year.
