Menu from Diamond Jim’s, a steakhouse located at 15302 Ventura Blvd. at Sepulveda, Sherman Oaks. There also may have been a location in North Hollywood (unconfirmed; based on note from Alan Gorsky). Named for Diamond Jim Brady, a Gilded Age businessman famous for his penchant for precious stones and his enormous appetite for food. Diamond Jim’s was a chain, started in the 1960s, most remembered for its locations on Wilshire Blvd. and Hollywood Blvd.
