Van Nuys, CA. Intersection of Virginia St. (Sylvan St. today) and Van Nuys Blvd. "The Pilkington" building: Van Nuys Cash Grocery, Van Nuys Pharmacy, rooms for rent upstairs. Streetcar was installed in 1911. Van Nuys Cash Grocery was incorporated in May 1917 and changed its name to Van Nuys Grocery Co. in Dec. 1925.
