Title
Girard, CA. Map of a bus tour.
Description
Girard, CA. Different dvertisement for a free 80-mile sight-seeing bus tour all around LA, through the Cahuenga Pass to the town of Girard (Woodland Hills today). The bus tour was a scam, later known as the "sucker bus" promotion by shady "land huckster" Victor Girard (Kleinberger). Back side mentions horse riding, Girard Inn, Girard Golf Club (Woodland Hills Country Club today), and swimming pool. Front shows map and color illustration of the "Turkish city," fake domes and minarets built by Victor Girard to promote his land for sale.
