This was the one and only museum I visited on my first trip to La-La Land and it was a great experience! More like an eclectic grouping of personal items lovingly collected over the years than a curated exhibit, everything was loosely related (I assume) to the history of the San Fernando Valley, which is in a bit of a cultural void. You will be transported to the '80s in one room, containing neon signs from various fast-food establishments and coffee shops; original arcade games; album covers; and bumper stickers. Other unusual items include Marilyn Monroe's favorite chair and a bill detailing her restaurant order, as well as a bunch of other memorabilia from various movers and shakers in California's entertainment industry.
