A second location (Anthony’s Red Vest, Jr.) opened in 1966, but I don’t know where it was or how long it lasted. There was also an Italian restaurant in 1977 called the Red Vest Pizza Parlor (12639 Glenoaks Blvd., Sylmar), which was probably related. References to the original restaurant in the Valley News start in the 1970s. It had a cocktail bar and a banquet hall called “the Grecian Room.” [show more]
