Description:Plantation Pies large pie menu. The bakery and family restaurant was located at 19415 Victory Blvd., Reseda. In 1960, this location was Valley Sales discount store. Plantation Pies (and Coffee Shop) opened in February 1965. By September of that year, it was Plantation Restaurant-Delicatessen, with a new phone number and no mention of “pies to-go” in the ad. By October, it was “under new management.” By 1968, it was Spic’n Span Delicatessen and Restaurant. In 1973, it was the Just Delicious Restaurant. In 1976, it was Sew and Save, a discount fabric store. [show more]

The Pucci brothers, Leonard and Michael (Len and Mike) opened the Encino Pucci’s location in 1958, after running a successful restaurant called Pucci’s Silver Fox on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks for several years. Pucci’s was destroyed by an explosion and fire in early July 1967 and the location was replaced by an office building. [show more]
